Yakshagana is a traditional Indian theatre/ art form which has its own beautiful visual narrative and captivating costumes. The reason I chose this concept as my personal artwork, was to spread the word about the richness of folk performances within our Indian context, and in support for this amazing culture. I have attempted to portray the ‘ambience’ which captures the dazzling performers on stage along with its captivated audience.
